Sylvester Stalone is more amazing, about 10 years older than Tom now. But these days he only makes killer / mafia type movies / series.

Super amped to see this! Tom just knows how to make action movies. Gonna have to watch the 1st one again to refresh the old grey matter.

Watched it tonight in an IMAX … seems the 3D options are only coming to SK later and I didn’t feel like waiting.
Yeah I got mixed feelings. Action sequences were a bit OTT even by MI standards, this time the entire WORLD is depending on Tom Cruise (maybe the next movie the whole Universe can depend on him), and the rest was a weird mix of character development which was too forced, too fast (in a three hour movie!), too cliched, or all of the above.
On the plus side I stayed awake through the whole thing and some other movies (like Avatar 2) put me to sleep. This just felt like the movie equivalent of a Big Mac burger: unhealthy but a guilty pleasure.
