Mixing "brand" lithium batteries

The batteries have an internal BMS so technically there shouldn't be an issue, the comms will probably be confused and your warranty will probably have an issue, besides that...
 
So I am going to see in the next day or so how much electricity I need stored to get though evening. At this stage I am looking at mixing then and adding 2xrevov R100 batteries.

I have feeling I'm going need just over 10kwh to get though the evening

What is running in the evening?

Voltage settings should be fine if you stick with same chemistry and cell count ie lfp 16s assuming that is what the freedom one is.

That’s why I would buy a pos brand and get 15kWh for R30k and strip it for spares if something goes wrong. Better yet, just diy your own so you can fix it yourself.

Yes, they using voltage settings with no comms. I’m okay with this.

How do you make your own batteries, where can you by individual cells?
