Mo Nice deals.

I'll have to switch my fibre router off, but I'm ordering out of principle

Rain : After your free unlimited data days, pay at the end of the month for the data you’ve used

"only service at 5c per meg (R50 per gig)"

So you use 5gig that month on windows updates and random sites.. a bit of light youtubing.. and it's R250 that will be debited i'm guessing.. as its not prepaid or "preset total"

That is really sad... can you spell DaylightRobery?

If you take the R250 unlimited offer, it's good deal. 19 hours a day :)

What does R250 unlimited give you ? i didn't see anything on their site.

Unlimited interslet. Except between 6pm and 11pm
This should put the cat amongst the pigeons. Hopefully Telkom Cotton's on and kaunches some really good offers. Yeah, right...

They must have done their homework and realised the mobile usage (home) is mostly heavy during those peak hours.

Just want to clarify something.

If I opt for the SIM only deal, I pay my R120 once-off.

If I read the article correct, the free days (depending on what you picked), is just a once off thing after you join. Then once that is over, you have the option of the R250 unlimited data deal, or the "pay as you use" option?

Simply put, yes

its almost fully uncapped (but we don't know if there is FUP and how this thing is going to be shaped). Doesn't mention unshaped...

But uncapped from 11pm to 6pm is not bad... only data counting to your cap is for a 5hour window (6pm to 11pm)

i mean paying R250 for uncapped for 19hours every day is actually cheap. but the shaping might be a killer. We don't know and nowhere does it mention your speed. (not like the other Rain product where it says 10mbit to 50mbit). So it could be 2mbit or 4mbit during the day or worse.

Yeah, I'm going for this Rain unlimited deal as well.

I sadly screwed up and can't go back to input my card details.
Now I wait for support to reach me.

Think i'll go for this also.. Uncapped option for those hours.. (just hope it's not shaped to hell and blocks p2p and limited to 128kbps) cause you know.. the fineprint is so small I don't even see it on the page.

Having you actual cap only counting for 5hours (6pm to 11pm) is not bad.. I mostly do gaming during that times.. maybe some lights Netflix etc.. so 5-6gig should be good then

I'm waiting for peeps who've just bought their SIM's to report back.
