Mo Nice deals.

I took out an old 8ta SIM I use irregularly on Smart broadband Prepaid, put it into my tablet and lo and behold , it had an option for 450Gb night surfer. My other SIM in regular use still only gives me 5 Gb night surfer. Go figure. Needless to say I immediately purchased the deal before it disappeared again. Yay.

The deals aren't the problem. It's the system they have that decides what you can get when you dial *123#. When your data is finally finished you will most likely not get those two options you listed and only weeks or a month later even.
 
Okay guys, :whistle: now that I have a 450GB Night Data, I have 650GB free storage on my laptop. I made adjustments to my Wi-Fi speeds, I used to have 16Mbps making out to 49GB download in 7hours, now After all adjustments I get Around 47Mbps LTE speed in my bathroom :D :D soooo... I am certain that by tomorrow I'll have downloaded 140GB at most by 7am ... wish me luck.

Can anyone tell me what are Telkom's LTE AUP for this bundle.

I want you'all to be patient while waiting for the 450GB, it will come... just keep on buying those GIGABYTES.

Anywho Here's my configuration Celeron N2830 2.16GHz, 4GB RAM (12800s), 128GB SSD (Lite-on), 750GB 7200Rpm Seagate on a caddy. I'm not using my laptops internal wifi so I plugged in a Zyxel USB Wi-Fi adapter and im getting good throughput to my mobile router:D

I genuinely get shocked after a clean Windows install how many ads there are on pages I see everyday. Literally feel like different sites!

Imagine my surprise when I tried Youtube without an ad-block. WOW.
 
Got myself a new Telkom sim about 2 weeks ago, had it provisioned just for data (consultant asked me for what I will be using it predominantly).

When first putting the Sim in, the usual 5gb for R5. Today I put in the new sim in my tablet, dialled *123# and lo and behold, what pops up on the screen....

450gb option, bought it immediately.

On what tariff is your sim ?

I actually think it's just a trap by Telkom, after I got the Sim I checked it had crap deals, left it alone didn't load airtime nothing.

Checked after 2 weeks and the it is. I highly doubt it will remain there as an option.

a new sim? mine was previously used on the 500gb deal, its got R60 airtime on it, i loaded it to be prepared for the day i get the deal.

Yeah a new one, with my old one I did exactly the same, loaded R60 for the day I would get it.

Needless to say I'll just transfer that airtime to new sim should the deal be there again in a months time.
