Mo Nice deals.

Thx for all the replies guys. Ja the price doesn't really phase me, it's just the duration. The 5 & 7 day period. Wish they had more 14-day "deals".

My latest one is 4GB for 5 days @ R49,50

5-days.... jinne tog!

Hello everyone,

I trust you are all doing well. I have a Telkom pre-paid Mobile SIM, and I use this Mo'Nice service. However, I see the deals / specials keep on changing when entering *123#

That's fine, however I would just like to know the specials you are offered, is it based on your purchases of mobile data / airtime? Because apparently everyone gets different deals.

Thanks guys!

How the heck do you check on the active window and the amount of data left of a Mo'nice deal on prepaid?

It does not show up on the Telkom app, nor when logged into the profile on their website. The USSD code *188# also just returns the amount of airtime available, but not data.

The only proof I even have that I subscribed to it, is a single sms stating that the amount was subtracted from my airtime when I got it. No confirmation sms that the data was loaded, although it works.

*188# sends me an sms with remaining data available.

Yes, I also used to get that, but then it just stopped.

This is now the second bundle that I subscribed to where there is just no proof of that, other than the sms stating that the amount was subtracted from the airtime.

I still have a day or two to go on the existing one, but it seems like there is no way to check on the amount of data that is left, which should be in the region of 8GB.

 Will try it tonight.

Use this link:
https://apps.telkom.co.za/alpha/pub...2Fview%252Fmytelkom&madURL=login/public/login

That is very interesting.

When I use that link, it redirects me to the Telkom website.

However, when I then log in, I am able to see the remaining balance:

Telkom MoNice Data Balance.jpg

What is that URL doing to solve the issue, when it doesn't return this result when just logging into the website via the regular Telkom URL?

Thanks by the way!

Telkom works in mysterious ways :p

I see the URL points to Telkom's new beta website, so that perhaps explains why it works.

Still wonder why USSD does not return anything, but now at least there is a way to check the balance.

Keep it Telkom, went Rain, haven't regretted it since, stupid data lottery idea.

Agreed, Rain is way more stable now than it was a few months ago, getting 40Mbps+ constantly, even during peak hours.

I enjoy my sleep way more than using "Night surfer" data in the crazy hours of the morning.

Seems it works by luck of the draw kind of way. I get different deals on there, just checked my daughters phone, she has totally different deals than me. Seems to be person to person deals.

I only use night surfer, and now my night surfer Mo'nice offers have completely disappeared! I thought these offers were based on your user behaviour. Their system is broken.
