Mo Nice deals.

Yeah unique to each customer... that's why people who aren't even awake at 12am get the 450gb. Also why when I constantly buy a 30 day bundle I now only have a 14 day bundle for double the price.

If it's a calculation, it's pretty terrible because it can't tell I bought the 500GB in the past for ~ 8 months without error. GGF.

This is my experience as well, except for the first paragraph.
Haven't got the 450GB/R59 Nightsurfer deal once even though I bought the 500GB every month.

So it's not based on past data purchases. Don't know, maybe it's the past airtime purchases.
 
Yeah, no Night Surfer for me either. If I were to get a second sim will the offers be different?
 
Guess I'm lucky.

I have the 450GB night surfer on 3 of my extra sim and my main has pretty sweet deals too.

Yes they probably will. I have like 6 simcards and only 3 are the same offers the rest have all different offers.

Thanks for letting me know. That seems to be my only option now. It just sucks that a year ago I could get 500 gigs for R50 and now I can't even get a meager 5 gigs.

Nope mixed. The 3 with the 450GB night surfer data is on Telkom More and my Main one is on Telkom more. 1 on Sim Sonke and 1 on Smart broadband wireless.
 
Wonder if Telkom are bringing back these deals due to Rain pulling customers?

I doubt Mo Nice is what is keeping Telkom in the game to be honest. Their standard bundles are not that great but Mo Nice is usually unbeatable. I saw on Facebook when they said Mo Nice is temporarily unavailable there was like 900 comments with mostly complaints about it being off line. There is a reason why Telkom is pushing this Telkom Knock Out Soccer on Mo Nice.
 
Telkom definitely missed a trick by ending the 500GB for R50 deal and allowed rain to enter the mobile market.

This is strange, I brought myself under the impression that the Nightsurfer deal was only on
SmartBroadband Wireless. Damn, so it's all over the tariff plans?

I've also moved on to Rain mobile.
 
I also moved to Rain. Beauty is that I now need a much smaller data deal from Telkom for the early evening. Dropping the 500GB for R50 and then playing Russian Roulette with its customers resulted in a nett loss in income for Telkom (R1055 + R59 to R455).

Power to Rain!
 
Poor sobs like me don't A) Have access to the Rain network and B) Even if we did, we don't have the means to get such deals. Prepaid is all we have.

I have a sweet deal here....

Apart from the 450gb night time deal, look at that last one - 8gb for R74 = R9.25 per Gig

R222 for 24 gig for the month - 3 x 10 days - not shabby ;-)

On a serious note, gonna buy a couple Telkom sims today and try again with the different tariffs. Everyone praises Rain but I don't want another contract to be honest, just prepaid night bundles, is that too much to ask?
