It is, why do you think are CPUs marketed with model numbers these days? Why do you think broadband is marketed with the download throughput speed?

Latencies are more important for me than speed, when playing online games.

So how does Telkom 3G/HSDPA work and normal GSM phone calls. Do they charge the same rate for GSM calls from a Telkom land line phone to a Telkom SIM in a cell phone?

Rouxenator : did it ever occur to you that processors are marketed with model numbers now because Ghz as a model number meant nothing to the average consumer.. now they just look for the highest model number if they want the best stuff... which wow, has the highest clock rating on a CPU.

As for not PS your photos...... well thats your loss, you still think a cellphone camera can compete against a dSLR used by a competent photographer.. as I said, you live in a strange and twisted world.. but thats not for this thread.

Coverage seems to have gotten slightly better since I last checked, but still, only in the Gauteng region...

I would need a degree in cartography to find my house. And even if I did, signal can, and does, vary greatly. Look at Neotel's detailed coverage map (to street level), to see this in action.

Telkom's map is useless.

The best thing about SAINET is that I can add it onto my MTN contract. I can use it through MTN that is. No extra device needed. Their VPN details are specified on my phone, then voila! Cheaper than MTN 3G on an MTN phone! makes one wonder...

I phoned them up and i have poor to no coverage in my area. but on their maps they show i am covered.

On their system they look up you exact address where they then have other coulours that show how good signal you wil have.

So i wonder how 'Covered" they really are.
