Mobile data not always available

I have a Samsung S21 5G phone on MTN. Afrihost is my isp
Data roaming is switched on
But often, when not connected to a wi-fi network, the Internet is not available.
How do I ensure constant connectivity?

Dual sim or single?
Do you have a data contract with mtn and do you have data on that contract
Afrihost is your isp on what service/link?

The phone has dual Sims, but I only use one
My pay as you go subscription for both data and voice is with Afrihost, on the MTN network
I have credit for both

Does the Afrihost APN not work at all? Does the myMTN apn work?
