Mobile internet access unusable in the evenings

I have a speedstick which generally has been operating well for many months. Lately I find that during the day it is okay, but in the evenings the internet access slows down and then becomes totally unusable; I cannot even load the Google search page. During this time my signal strength shows as 92%, -85db, which is good, and I can at all times access the USSD (e.g. balance check) and get a fast response, so this indicates to me that the link from here (Pretoria East) to CellC is fine, and that the problem lies beyond that.
Any others experiencing the same problem?

Yeap in the afternoons full signal bar but no throughput, during the day it's ok but drops connection from time to time this is on a phone. I wonder if they are aware of this or not.

Thanks for your responses. I have also sent a complaint to CellC, although I do not actually expect a response.
My 12-month prepaid data expires at the end of this month - maybe it is time to look elsewhere... This is not out of spite - I USE the internet access after-hours and this is preventng me from getting my work done
