Absolutely unbelievable that gov have the guts to actually even try this..!! I am dumbstruck..This is pure, blatant, in-your-face corruption and no one sees this..???
In a nutshell - TV's are not the only devices that will be able to display video. Gov. is already taxing ipods @ TV rates because it can "play" video. (the reason why it is more expensive in SA). When in 5 years you get your new ipod, tablet whatever device to watch a show on, you are going to be forced to watch 20% propaganda - this WILL be later promulgated to include IPTV. So there will NEVER be competition and quality in the SA TV market because you have SABC/SA gov leechers sucking you dry!!!
I have now seen it all and cannot be surprised anymore. If a |"government official " wants to use your car, house, business or whatever for 20% of the time, don't be surprised - this on top of the almost 65c out of every rand you make in taxes and crap you have to pay them for what - a f$%$n potholes road that they want to charge you 20c per km..???!!!>>????
