Does anyone know about this app / service ?

I think it got installed on my PC when I upgrade iTunes. Wondering if anyone uses it and has opinion on it.

- Not posting in software forum 'cos this is not related to how it work but rather if it works etc -

Loose!

There was some article in the Sunday Times a week ago. It supposedly crosses all boundaries in terms of sync'ing. for once you can now supposedly sync all information on all devices using once central point.

I'm gonna be testing it later today, will let you know how it really syncs.

Its basically a rebranded .Mac account with a few more bells & whistles. .Mac was never worth the $'s IMO and I doubt MobileMe is either

I still say MobileMe is well worth the money... :P

Been trying the trail version of MobileMe. I'm still making up my mind if it is worth the money. I have an iPhone and MacBookPro which allows me to keep everything synced...but I am still wondering if a normal sync via USB does do the same thing. The access to some of you resources on the MobileMe site is also quite handy.

I'll play some more and let you know....but as yet...I will cancel my trail period before they charge me Euros65 for the next year!!

It's definitely NOT worth the money

I honestly believe that if you feel it's not worth the money, then you're not using all of its features properly..I used to feel the same way until I had to do provide training on .Mac/MobileMe and it was only then that I realised its true value...

{Hey,

I only got to use the PUSH for 3 days before my Phone got stolen. But while using it the system worked perfectly! PUSH email, contacts and calendars were all Pushed to my Pwned 1G iPhone instantly, and updates made on the phone all appeared on my Mac every 15mins when the mac synced with MobileMe. Apart from the push, MobileMe also gives you 20GB online storage to use as you please (i've set mine up as mobile FTP site) as well as 1-Click publishing when using web galleries and iWeb. MobileMe also stores all you're info online which saved my ass when my Powerbook, iMac and iPhone were all stolen last week, would have lost all my contacts otherwise!!! oh and there is also a type of VNC like client called back-to-my-Mac which allows you to see a home or work Mac remotely.

All in all i would be lost without my mobileme... its one of those products you don't need until you get it and then can't live without it afterwards...}
