Selling art (casually?)

Does anyone here sell their art? I do a random painting every now & thought it would be nice to try sell some (if anyone actually wants to buy it...) but not really sure if people are getting anything positive from posting on Instagram or what you've found is the best way to do this for someone who doesn't do this full-time? I don't paint all day; I have a job and other hobbies so don't really have the energy to get involved in the art scene with galleries etc.

Have you ever approached a gallery? A good start would be to contact art workshops; they could point you in the right direction. Surprisingly art sells well. Not a trade of my own, but I am close to someone who does it.

ive never sold on bobshop but maybe thats a possibility
