Modern Warefare 2 Price...

I saw that Modern Warfare 2 is now 431 rand.. still am i the only one who thinks that is @?!;&$* EXPENSIVE for a game??? (it was 500 though...)

I love the game so much, that I don't mind spending that kind of money for it. Bought prototype PS3 for a friend and that was R700. :O

Seriously 431 is not bad for a game you will play for hours and hours.

If you have no internet then yes if you have internet it's cheap.

Consider a good night out drinking, 200-500 bucks for one night modern warfare 431 for 3 hours a day entertainment for 3-6 months hardly expensive.

I was also one of the guys that didn't bought it initially, but in the end, I gave in and due to the fact that the majority of my clan mates bought it, I did so too and we've been jamming together ever since. Like killa said, if you have the internet, its a worthy buy. Been playing it nonstop and I have to say its really enjoyable. Looking forward to BF:BC2 next year, its going to be epic

Thats funny that you do not remember that was because of no dedicated servers so i thought we would have to play on international servers with 300 pings.

So yes i said pirate it because 450 rand 6 hours of SP is not worth it but since i have seen how the servers work it is a legend game and the online element uses local pings so it is worth every cent.

Have you bought it aqua? are you thinking of buying it?

Not sure how it works, i am sure you use local bandwidth when playing with local players, i actually have no idea haha

I do not have a bandwidth problem so makes no difference in my life.

yes and no, as if you have Route Sentry or Traffic Splitter (the better one) it will route your games to your local account but you do need to have 2 accounts as you always have to be logged into steam .what i do it use my telkom (1gig) until its capped then use TS/RS and use a Axxess voucher you can get from PnP. Only 1 problem is i cannot get into friends partys when I have 2 accounts running ;/ I have to disconnect my local which is annoying

my cousy & I also burning to get the game. but jislaaik, no matter how you try n justify the game's value & longevity it is still a lotta munny
was looking at it at HiFi corp, about R479
i guess we can wait till it goes on budget line, or buy legit via download (like http://www.direct2drive.com)... in the end, i guess we won't resist and just go buy it
yip... the retailers have really got us by the short & curlys
but yeah... like has been said... its less than the price of about 1 nite out with the boyz.... so guess will have to make some sacrifices
