Was that not what FOURZEROTOW said they will try to prevent pirace from the PC and get the consoles out first.


I dont wish the company harm but ..... aaah hell who am I fooling Serves you right for no dedicated servers for the pc.

Do you think they might re-think theserver thing to boost the pc sales now?

Do you think the groups who distribute pirate good really give a sh%t whether a game has dedicated servers or not? I'm sure this game would have been pirated regardless.
 
I do agree it is like rates and taxes.

But IW biggest concern was the pc users and tried to get the consoles sales out before the piracy started on the PC.

This will be the biggest pirated game for 2009 and this have been predicted by almost everyone on these forums.
 
LOL. its amazing how this turned out. One of the reasons for introducing IW.Net was to prevent piracy on PC, but the game leaked on Xbox first.
 
No wonder there's a market for the stuff. @ R600 a shot you can buy a console for every 4 games you buy.

Makes sense, the Xbox version probably does not require online activation.
 
Everyone must copy the game!

Seriously, if IW wanna screw us over - let's do it to them first.

Once they give us what we want, we give them what they want.

I've saved up for MW2, but I won't buy it till they give us DS's and etc.

Too true, if WoW is anything to go by we're a tiny drop in their profit pool.

@killadoob : Won't it connect to the same server or will Live have its own server? So long as modded Xboxes are bricked with every firmware update, I don't think Activision have got much to worry about this version being distributed.

Source? Even with a 30% cancellation, its still at the top of the Wishlist, on Kalahari.net too.

I think that either there are a lot of people saying one thing and doing another or most gamers don't feel threatened by the news of no DS.

I think most of them ordered before the price hike. Around that time the game was R350 so they probably keeping their Pre-orders.

People who Pre-ordered after price hike(around that time the price was R450) most probably canceled.
 
And yet more bad news for the Pc.
It seems that US is picking up the bad side also now.

I dont know I think this is on a double edge sword right now between completely fail or just, just surviving this title profits.

We have seen that big dev houses closed door this year for the reason of faulty or shyty games.
