Modern Warfare 2 will allow dual-wielding

Nice, so will it count as 2 headshots if you shoot both weapons at the same time?

Any idea of what the specs would be? I've been trawling the web looking for something to go on, but IW hasn't seemed to have released the system requirements yet...
 
I hope there is a option to turn it off... because 2 hand guns is cool and realistic, but 2 mp5's... come on man!
 
OK, according to the articles it will be handguns only, lets wait and see. Keeping too reality, can't they make you dive right or left?? Like in one of those old Jean-Claude Van Damme movies........ ha ha

Normally i don't get that excited about upcoming games, but with all the mw2 hype how can i not be, i cant frikkin wait any longer either.

I just hope their are no spawning parts.
 
It wont be two SMG's. it isn't realistic. It can be a handgun and Knife or Handgun and Riot shield. Those are more realistic. The Riot shield is confirmed in Modern Warfare 2

Two Desert Eagles will be schweeeeeet!. I cant wait :D

But according to the developers if you have a riot shiled it will use both hands thus you cant shoot if have the shield your buddie needs to do the shooting behind you. I agree with that as it will need teamwork but you also can get ambushed from behind or corners.

It seems that they are looking into the realistic and balance quite closely
 
At this point in time we cant really tell how it is going to work unless we see the game...

This would be cool though when plating Bomb etc. It can be used to give cover when planting Bomb....


The game has to be balanced!
 
Agreed Kyubi, not like today where it sooo easy to rape and be raped... ;)
