Battery still takes a little bit of float charge
The current can still drop a bit
Next time do this just after power came back
As your bateries was already nearly full when you meusured the current this morning (was it on charge overnight ?)
Remember to not leave meter on 10A hole will can blow fuse if conect leeds over bat + and -

The lower the current the fuller the batteries

I only charged the batteries today at 5h30

I think we in the exact same boat. My batteries also show about 70% discharged. Where did you buy your inverter and cost

From ordered to arive 7 days
You will find it on aliexpres 269$
Pushed it to 800w with a toaster
Should be able to handle 3000w

Need external battery charger

Have to tell you, that is unlikely to push out 3000w continuous. Looks like 1000watt continuous...

For example, compare the internals to a very high quality brand internals:

Far fewer capacitors, three transformers in the input/boost stage (ouch). One very small inductor and a single filter cap on the inversion stage (ouch again).

I mean I'm not trying to knock it, but let us know how it performs?

I do see what you mean
Being 24v should help
Already loaded it for a while at 800 wats ( Edit tried short test with 1200w device )
Have asked for diagrams from seller
Will slowly load it up when I get more bateries
Here a review of the 12v 1500W model

Hi guys, Eventually got an rct2000va setup with two external 105Ah batteries. All seems fine. Only question I have is, when the ac recovers the batteries jump from around 80%, down to 60% before it starts charging back up the way. Why would this be? Also if there is no load it seems to discharge as well. But when there is load it doesn't discharge very quickly. Had my TV on it for around 2 hours, was at 4% load.
