Money for My Macbook

Hey guys I need real money not pictures!

Someone give me a job....

I reckon I only need about R17000

Ok, so if you REALLY must have a Macbook Pro, a possible way that I can see you affording one, is to go via the 3 year Vodacom deal. Then you can pay it off over 3 years and will cost you X amount per month.

It's obviously not as good as paying cash for it, but if you dont have any other way to do it.....

The novelty does wear off. I got a 17" Macbook Pro and yes sure it is good looking and everything just works when it should, but I'm thinking about what one can buy for the same price and then still have a wad of cash left over. There are some awesome 17 inch i7 windows laptops around now at reasonable prices.

My exact same thought.

My requirement for a notebook now is a 17.3'' HD display, with a blu-ray drive + USB 3 ports. And I think I might be able to find a Windows 7 one for R17000.

not mean to hijack. but i so wish i could get a macbook pro 13" with full hd, the others are just too big and the 13" size is just right, absolutely need the screen real-estate. could one implant a 1920 into the 13"? the sony vaio z has a 1920, but sadly can't take 2.5" drives

I want to use it for music production and I would like to have the option of both Windows and OSX to use...

Besides, they just look awesome.

What type of music Pooky? What software do you use? I am slowly starting to figure out how to put beats together myself, so much damn fun. :D

Macs come with Garageband for free, I use it myself but need a more powerful macbook to make full use of it, so still use FLStudio on windows.

If I had a Mac I'd use Logic, for sure.

*edit*

Or stick to Reason/Record maybe, see how the update is.
