Hello,

Recently I've had an increased usage on my SAIX account and I don't know what it is. I have two computers, and each connects to two PPPOE connections: One SAIX, and one IS.

Is there a program I can run on each computer that allows me to select the PPPOE connection I want (I don't need to or want to monitor my IS account) and monitor the bandwidth it uses? It would also be a plus to see which programs are using what.

I've tried NetLimiter, but it's a bit of an overkill and I can't seem to find where I can select the individual PPPOE connection.

I wrote this app some time back, which can monitor an individual PPPOE link.

It is however full of bugs, esp with Vista. It was never intend to be widely used, so its fairly quick-and-dirty programming. Dunno, maybe it does what you need.:o

I use a program called BWMeter.

It allows you to select individual interfaces and you can also exclude traffic in various ways.

Example would be to Monitor 0.0.0.0/0 but exclude traffic to 192.168.0.0/24 which would mean all traffic except traffic to local network (assuming you're using class C private network)

Or you could set it to just monitor the PPPoE interface :p

I you want to monitor which programs are using bandwidth you'd need some kind of torch tool.
