Monitors 27"

Samsung P2770H, nothing wrong with that screen. Ive been using my Sammy T260 for 3 years now and it's still ticking after the many lans Ive been to.

Lol, am I the only gamer left in the world who is still more than happy with his 19" Screen? :P

Don't worry, my 19" CRT is the reason I'm reading this thread.

I've decided to rather go for a 32" HDTV than a monitor. Monitors of that size is just too expensive for me.

Just hope you guys are right about size matter-ing. :)

Honestly 32" is too big i think. Maybe later the resolutions will get better and response times... Good news is that i phoned rectron today and they told me jhb has stock of the new Samsung 27" series. so tomorrow morning I can order myself one. I will sleep over it whether to get the 3D one or not. Price is R1000 cheaper for the s27a950d then what was estimated. :)

Enjoy your TN panel... ;)

Yea it's sickening... Well for me even 27" is pushing the outside limit of usability for a PC screen, since i do stuff like you know...work......on it.

Bollocks.

I work on mine. Try having an opinion if you've actually used both. I've used 17" CRT, 19", 23", 27" and now 32". It's perfectly fine for everything, and looks better than any TN-Panel I've ever seen.

I love how people "think" it's too big, without actually testing it out. :wtf:
I promise y'al, you're missing out.

For 3D, it is definitely going to depend on the price. A >60hz monitor is better for gaming, ignoring the 3D aspect altogether, especially FPS games, but you're going to have to judge whether the premium is worth it.
