Hubble can't even see the stuff the astronauts left on our moon, let alone a nipple shaped rock on a foreign one.

Also I read that NASA already has a mars orbiting spacecraft that can take finer pics of mars than hubble

Those pics are a result of the Hubble looking at a specific area of the universe for months at a time. It can only zoom to a certain distance, beyond that, it relies on the amount of light that it gathers over a few months.
 
I can't see why NASA would want to cover up any extra terrestrial findings, when they went through all the trouble of creating the Pioneer 10 plaque.

The original idea, that the Pioneer spacecraft should carry a message from humankind, was first mentioned by Eric Burgess when he visited the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California during the Mariner 9 mission. He approached Dr. Carl Sagan, who had lectured about communication with extraterrestrial intelligences at a conference in Crimea.

Dr. Sagan was enthusiastic about the idea of sending a message with the Pioneer spacecraft. NASA agreed to the plan and gave him three weeks to prepare a message. Together with Dr. Frank Drake he designed the plaque, and the artwork was prepared by Sagan's then wife Linda Salzman Sagan.

The first plaque was launched with Pioneer 10 on March 2, 1972, and the second followed with Pioneer 11 on April 5, 1973.

The significance of the symbols and dimensions are pretty impressive.
 
This what gets me, we send out a probe with all this info, and a welcome message from Earth, but not including the warning "Approach with caution, or you will be fired upon"
The first response that major countries do to any unidentified flying object that shows up on radar is to scramble their military planes, then more often than not they are ordered to open fire.

A somewhat contradictory message, we are actively seeking out contact, yet if any contact shows up, its shot at, then a major press release on how some weather balloon, or sunspot or some other natural phenomena actually caused the panic and furor crops up.

Do we really want contact, or what?

Thats like some farmer putting up a sign saying Guestfarm, and then taking pot shots at people for trespassing :confused:
 
Of course people would want to see it is a rock. Its EASIER for their narrow minded minds rather than thinking its something else.... something extra terrestrial-made
