In all seriousness...

I drink these things like water. Everyone is complaining it can't be good for you. Is it really that bad? Let's say on average 1 a day? I don't drink coffee like other people do. But I love drinking Monster in the morning. My poison is the Khaos one (Juice). Some days I have 2 cans through the course of the day.

They that bad for you? Worse than coffee?

Not sure how bad they are compared to 6 cups of coffee a day.

/Loves Monster Rehab crew checking in

Its about the same as a cup of coffee in terms of caffeine, BUT the other crap in there like the volumes of sugar etc are not good for you in continuous consumption.

One or two cans a day is not going to be major problem for you unless you have a precondition like diabetes.

Monster Energy normally has a very low sugar content (well in comparison to many other energy drinks and even sodas).
They rely on vitamin B and a concoction of what they call an energy blend to give you that boost.

I'd rather drink a monster over a play/red bull anyday.

There is nothing wrong with it. I use the zero sugar one. It has all the other goodies in there to give you a mental and physical boost without the sugar. I've read up on the ingredients and they are good for you. People who say it's bad are either just referring to the ones that contain sugar and/or they are ignorant and just keep saying it's bad because everyone else keeps saying it. People are stupid. Don't take what they say to heart.

I don't and I will rather drink coffee (moderately) or just take ginseng.

As long as you aren't skipping meals because of it should not be too bad.

The only bad thing is the price. Some Spar shops have imported drinks hidden in a fridge (Cherry Coke, etc) and there are energy drinks that sell for R9-R12 for 500ML. It was in these same fridges that I found VOLT, SPIKE and NOS for the first time. Lately I buy AMP energy drinks from there.

Or there are those who believe that bloody devil sign/connotation on the cans.

I would give exchange my 2 nuts for an endless supply of Monster Rehab cans  I drink 3 at max per day cos the Caffeine warning label says so.

Love it and now that almost every major shop sells it, I remember when you could only get it at those corner shops for like R24, now its R14 at PnP :D

I'm so happy!

Original or nothing.
