Legally yes. In reality, no. Big companies don't want to do business with you if you're not compliant. Check Frankie's post:

This is very common, and there's nothing you can do. No big company has any obligation do business with you.

Yip, and to the best of my knowledge (I didn't read all of it - couldn't get my blood pressure under control) the act doesn't protect the little guy against it. And to be fair, it shouldn't, because if it does, it's dictating to businesses who they should and shouldn't do business with - that will kill competition.

All these idiots who keep shouting "you whiteys just don't wanna share" forget that it's those same whiteys that voted YES to get rid of Apartheid. There are heaps of capable black people in the job market - they'll get hired anyway. But trying to force people to hand over shares in their companies or executive power to a stranger is just wrong. It doesn't benefit the unskilled, jobless, hungry masses anyway, so what's the point?

They have in all likelihood already been hired. Thats the problem, there are many workers but not enough skilled ones.

And as far as forcing someone to hand over a share of their business is just wrong. No matter how you look at it!

Its either you have a "let's work together" attitude, or pack your bags and go. We are trying to build this nation, through dialogue, because we have the dynamics of different cultures at play here. What I consider good for me, might not be good for you, that I will never know, until I engage you in discussions.
