More free ADSL data from FNB

FNB is just awesome. Heaven knows why I'm still with Standard Bank

I asked the same question a year ago. I'm now 100% with FNB. After 30 years of being Standard Bank you'd think they would give me a good home loan rate. Twice they've given me the finger (even though I've got an "A" credit rating).

FNB have given me the lowest rate twice.

As the guys said in this thread, FNB will actually help you move your debit orders accross from other Banks

But I digress, this thread is about how awesome FNB is with their latest free 5GB offering. :D

I also wanna know.
Been wanting to change for a while, but what about my stop orders, loans, beneficiaries etc. etc. Don't suppose there's any FNB employees on the Forum?

i went through to FNB on saturday to check it out, they do everything the salary switching/debit orders and beneficiaries. i got the forms, just need to complete and send it through :)

oh moving from the Red one!

all that is switched over with a few clicks once you set up your FNB Online account. Otherwise, you can call your nearest branch if your apply online or just walk in one and someone will swap all your transactions to your new account!!

I know, I should work for them, Impressive Right!!

I am a happy FNB customer. Also don't forget about their good tablets and smart phone offerings. Even though I use an uncapped acount, the 5 gig account will serve as a handy backup account. The 5gig account is an unshaped account which can come in very useful.

Well done FNB!

I'd like to also know regarding the limits for silver, gold, platinum.

Cool, thanks for the info. And you Johand

I think this is a great thing.

As a side note, FNB converted me too, I closed all my bank accounts elsewhere and are with them. Amazing to see my money lasts in my bank account and isn't vanishing to ridiculous fees. They are obviously trying very hard to be the kind of bank embattled South Africans crave, and its really about time. I see how people are leaving Standard Bank in droves, its like now become street conversation, you hear it when out at malls, at HobbyX etc...

it seems i have lost my free gigs with this transition. now i am on uncapped so i don't mind that much. but it leads me to believe i can't be the only one who has lost out after the change.

Mine is also not working. On the statement it shows that the new 2GB were allocated on the 10th and no transaction thereafter...

This is only starting in May, no? You wouldn't be seeing any effect of the new caps just yet.
