Depends what you're looking for... I personally think the major cities of Britain are all sh!tholes. (and you'll probably land up in London)

NewZealand is pretty laid back and quality of life there is way good. Can't comment on Canada, but some mates of mine have been staying in Vancouver for the last 4 years or so and they're loving it

I think it's time that we put things into perspective. Much as a lot of you would simply love to believe that we've lost it as a country, i don't think these power cuts elevates our situation into the category of "Big fcups" like Marine1 suggests.

Yes we have problems. Nobody disputes that, but these are being ironed out. Before you dismiss that as just another excuse as i'm sure you'll try your damnest to.

Surely you haven't forgotten about this now. Believe it or not, a heatwave was blamed for this. I'm willing to bet my last cent that if this was to happen here, marine1 and his/her friends would be screaming from the top of every mountain for the world to "SEE WHAT THESE IDIOTS(READ: BLACKS) ARE DOING

Yeah, It not what the current situation is it is more what the future predicts.

It will take 6-10 Years to build and commission a new power station. Do you see one in progress. If we have these problems now already how will we cope in future? say 4 Years from now ??????????????

Dream on boy, dream on! They said 2 years ago Telkom will come to the party, broadband would improve and become cheaper, So me the money? Where are we, Telkom smiles and Neotel lines their pockets and the Government of the day is still experimenting with everything, eNatis, school education, hospitals, traffic, police force, Rugby and other sports teams. Just read the fsucking paper headlines daily and get some perspective!
