More underhanded DA tactics!!

Well its not as bad as taking all the homeless people and hawkers and putting them into hiding until the world cup is over.

DA fails to provide "reasonable" service delivery according to anc / ancyl .......

You know what is "reasonable" in DA ruling areas?
In the same time, you know what is "reasonable" in anc ruling areas?

anc / ancyl supporters tell you what is "reasonable" ..........

in DA ruling areas : 1000m^2 property for every four persons family, 2 free cars, , R20000 income grant for every household, free water, free electricity, free rate and taxes ..............etc.
in anc ruling areas : can access to water and electricity. That is.

DA fails forever according to anc / acnyl , no doubt. ;)

Explain to me what you see as wrong?
They are trying to evict people that are illegally occupying a building. I must admit that taking 7 years to react on it is a bit long, but then I don't think the DA was in control back then.

The ANC have done this numerous times in Johannesburg, yet you have not criticized them?

There. I wonder if there was no world cup would they have even bothered?

Sounds to me like someone is jealous that she doesn't live in the WC.

How's your ANC-led service delivery coming along for your Gauteng/EC comrades, Tay?

So providing uncovered toilets to the poor is reasonable these days?

Where's the DA fanboys? The DA trying to hide their incompetence once again.

Can't provide housing and TOILETS, now their trying to hide it.

Or Sepp Blatter said, No, ve can't hav ze foreign media seeing ze poor folks, ja...

That's why Green Point has a (pointless) stadium and the Cape Flats are still flat. ;-)

So providing uncovered toilets to the poor is reasonable these days?

Only if it was agreed with the poor to do so. The poor would have had supplied their own cover.
Please read up on the history of that whole saga. Oh, and please stay on your topic :p

So providing uncovered toilets to the poor is reasonable these days?

I believe the ANCYL 'uncovered' them. 50 out of 1200 toilets is 4% of the total that weren't accepted. The DA was only 96% efficient. Shame on them!

Djtay, choosing to purposefully blow some information out of proportion, while ignoring other information that shows the other side of the story, does not make you a master debater; it makes you an idiot. Maybe all those horse steroids you're taking are going to your tiny brain.

I suggest you learn the life skills "thinking" and "reading comprehension" before you post anythign more that makes you look even more of a moron.

1. They are living there illegally
2. The city has tried to get there to move out for 7 years?
3. The site as a training venue has strict requirements
4. They are living there illegally

The DA has been in control of the WC since 2009. Up untill then its been controlled by the ANC from 1994. So in 2 years the DA has transformed the WC into an utopian service delivery area?

When was the last time you took a drive to the airport? Or Mitchells Plain?

1. The toilets were provided because residents CHOSE to have more toilets, connected to each shack RATHER than covered toilets which would result in FEWER toilets.
The residents CHOSE to cover the toilets so that the city could deliver MORE toilets.

Why is this difficult to understand?

2. WHY after SIXTEEN years is the DA adding or delivering toilets, water, electricity to these areas for the FIRST time.
WHY after SIXTEEN years did the DA have to introduce the "Informal Settlements Masterplan" to deliver basic services to 203 informal settlement sites, which previously had NO lighting, water, sewerage etc?????????
When the ANC simply PROMISED houses, while people were left without services, the DA is NOT Promising free houses for all BUT to give them dignity in the meanwhile.

3. Service Delivery means conflict too! What do you think happens when a house needs to be built? Shacks need to be relocated, people need to be moved! This too results in protest?

Are the DA perfect? Of course not, far from it......
