They will do the same if the Army is called for the Taxi Violence. Fifa only worries about the safety of the spectators. And making a stand showing that group violence will not be tolerated = BIG SMILES on the Fifa board

The played the actual sound bite on 702 yesterday afternoon. Zumatello said something about we should all hold horses and if government doesn't come back to the taxi drivers, then they must let him know.

Now, holding horses seems to mean different things. The taxi industry seem to believe that it means that there will be a halt to the BRT. And Zumatello deliberately created enough abiguity and he will be saying that he meant that there would be a halt to the protest action.

Let's see how this pans out.

I sort of see your point however it's semantics. It's THE major public transport system of South Africa, with luck all visitors to SA for the World Cup will be "educated" as to what SA taxis actually are, and how dangerous they are on the roads.
