I have the Nokia 920. It is a great phone.
However Windows Mobile 8 does not allow direct Outlook 2010 / mobile phone syncronisation. It must be done via Outlook.com
It cannot be done via usb. Other than using Exchange, Microsoft's preferred solution, Outlook / Hotmail communicator is required for this. However I have the following problems:
* the sync was not automatic. Both Outlook.com and Outlook 2010 needed to be shut down /restarted before the sync took place.
* I could only get contacts to be synced. Not calendar events or tasks
I found two other commercial software packages. the one requires a monthly subscription. The other requires the registration of a dns server and the opening of ports on the router. Very complicated.
I had an HTC android phone. It was so simple to install HTC Sync, connect via usb and sync was completed.
Because of the lack of syncronisation I am selling my Nokia 920 and going back to Android.
I really would have thought that sync was a no brainer and would be built in.
