Most engineered program(s)

I must agree, Visual Studio must be top 5 atleast (Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual C++, Visual F#, Team Foundation etc) all from a single GUI...

Dont mention SAP, as an Ex-SAP Architect I know I can get way more income doing implementations than what I am getting now but its not worth it.

There is a reason they get paid so much, its called Danger Pay and takes years off your life :)

Not much of a SAP fan myself. There are many other ERP solutions out there - SAP just has the "brand" and marketing behind it.

I don't think it's been mentioned here yet, but most Google services are incredible examples of software engineering. Good old Google Search is so efficient and fast it's not even funny and Google Maps / Earth is also incredible.

AutoDesk Inventor is some seriously clever software... Stress analysis, dynamic simulation, rendering, modelling... etc.

RTOS systems like LynxOS etc used in the arospace , medical etc industries where stability & security are of the absolute importance.

Have you used Bing maps?
They don't have as much road data as Google in South Africa which is unfortunate, however the actual browser based map is drastically smoother, and nicer to use: http://www.bing.com/maps/

I am using Bing Maps in an web/WP7 app I am building and I find the directions manager module awesome and quite accurate for local addresses.
