Most Lethal Gun ever Made

If my ass is on the line, I'd rather go for the reliability offered by something with a proven track record like the AK47 before I entrust Mrs Gru's best beloved's posterior to a gun that probably has the majority of its internals manufactured in a Malaysian sweatswop belonging to Mattel

In War you need both. Get a Squad with this weapon, and a lot of conventional weapons.
Balance is always good :D

In a real war a Tomahawk would descend on your a-- before you
could even uncrate that ugly thing. :)

Fat lot of good all those Tomahawks are doing the US in Iraq...

Sometimes you need a different technique, not a better hammer :)

What's the point of the wireless shooting thing? Then countries can just as well wage war with robots, no human casualties. Then you could as what is the point of the war? Who's got the best robot? :D

The gun you're referring to is worthless for urban warfare too. It won't stop IEDs, suicidal bombers or snipers located in homes full of women and children.

Just send in a Freestate plaas boer with his Martini Henry, wife & kids to tap the gunpowder and compact the bullets :D

Nah, I'll prefer to have an old-fashioned gun.

Modern stuff just is too unreliable, especially when you might have EMP happening in close proximity as well...

Sorry punks, you're wrong.

Well... I wonder how many MP3s that gun can store.. And if it's linux compatible :D

On the plus side though you probably end up saving money in the long run.

The cost of one bullet one kill versus many bullets on one target.

any one else wonder why they don't use a better explosive in bullets then gunpowder? Like a more powerful explosive...

But the sad thing is that these weapons are useless if the guy using them aint trained... I mean, the great thing about the AK-47 is that it's simple. It can be used by children! it doesn't jam, or do funny things... it's crude, inaccurate and isn't to light/comfortable, but it works...

I mean, it's all good if you can make the round explode @ 20 meters, but all that means is, you have to stop, push buttons, program it to 20 meters, then you can fire at the one guy who's 20 meters away, then you have to repeat the process for the other guy who's 30 meters away...
and I beat you there's gonna be some oak that will program 30 cm's, and kill them selves...

It's all very silly if you ask me...

I'm pretty sure all those 'obvious' things are tuned out in the design stages scotty.

Laser distance by pointing a nearby wall and pressing a single button, and then just point and smack the trigger. Must quicker and accurate than guessing the distance.

There most likely also some obvious limits to minimum distance.

They don't just make this stuff up and send it into the field, a lot of thought actually goes into it :p
