Phoronix’s Linux Laptop Survey revealed that Ubuntu is the most popular Linux distribution for laptops, followed by Arch Linux and Debian.

i've heard that their is going to be a new type interface, but that's about it... haven't bothered reading up on it just yet.

They're switching back to Gnome (v3). Unity will probably live on as a community based project I suspect..

Yes, Unity has been dropped switching to Gnome3

They're switching back to Gnome (v3). Unity will probably live on as a community based project I suspect..
