Most powerful car below 200k

Year model and mileage? He said they mustn't be more than 2 years old. I am not sure if he'll come right with those two choices.

Says the guy who recommended a Fiesta ST... When did they discontinue the previous shape Fiesta ST?

My bad, it is really old I remember. He must look for a Polo Gti then , I saw some for R219 000 he sould find one for R200 000.

Tell that to the township people who drive 80 km/h max on freeways before breaking down

Make their car do 150 km/h without falling apart then I will beleive you

Township people? Do you mean blacks? Come on man. I always find whites(suburban) and poor driving slow on the highway in their old cars, what do you mean "township people"????????????????????????

go for a slightly older car. like a 2003-2005 c55 amg, or e46 m3, audi rs4, m5. a 7 year old merc with reasonable mileage is still more reliable than a newish ford/mazda/alfa/vw/honda.

Dont think they would drive broken down cars with metal falling off unless they farmers and cant afford anything else and yes township as in Rural areas has white farmers around also.

Someone who is spending R200k on one of those is going to be completely screwed when something breaks.
Or when they have to be serviced, need tyres replaced, fuel consumption...

e46 m3 parts aren't so bad. well besides engine overhaul. that will cost quite a packet. but the e46 series parts are surprisingly cheap. i drive a 325i e46 and maintenance is cheaper than on my friends 2003 corsa 1,7cdti

Living in a dream world.

First find me an RS4 at 200k.

Then we can talk aboutt he whopping 400km - 450km on a tank of 82litres doing town driving.

And it's not more or less reliable than any other car, but when stuff needs replacing it costs ****loads of cash.

The RS4 is the most unreliable Audi in the last few years. Awesome car when it works, just plagued with problems.

I have to assume he means people that live in townships! Get a life and start a new thread if you want to talk about political correctness.

one of my customers is selling his rs4 for 190k. he wants to get rid of it asap as he is awaiting delivery of a c63. guy loves his fast cars. yeah the fuel might be a bit of a problem. those cars are guzzlers. and maintenance is quite expensive you're right. i'd say safest bet is e46 m3, besides engine parts, service parts and general maintenance parts like brakes and stuff not so bad

with how many kms?

I am amazed that someone would be looking for a "cheap" quick car.

If he was suicidal, maybe a good idea....if not....buy a DECENT car for under 200k and forget the performance!
