Year model and mileage? He said they mustn't be more than 2 years old. I am not sure if he'll come right with those two choices.
Tell that to the township people who drive 80 km/h max on freeways before breaking down
Make their car do 150 km/h without falling apart then I will beleive you
Township people? Do you mean blacks? Come on man. I always find whites(suburban) and poor driving slow on the highway in their old cars, what do you mean "township people"????????????????????????
go for a slightly older car. like a 2003-2005 c55 amg, or e46 m3, audi rs4, m5. a 7 year old merc with reasonable mileage is still more reliable than a newish ford/mazda/alfa/vw/honda.
Why do you need the fastest car ? Wouldn't you want the best car ?
I'd rather be going fast in a car with nothing, than slow in a car with everything
Or what about a Civic Type R?

Maybe not the fastest, but certainly one of the best compromises for year and mileage
Someone who is spending R200k on one of those is going to be completely screwed when something breaks.
Or when they have to be serviced, need tyres replaced, fuel consumption...

Living in a dream world.
First find me an RS4 at 200k.
Then we can talk aboutt he whopping 400km - 450km on a tank of 82litres doing town driving.
And it's not more or less reliable than any other car, but when stuff needs replacing it costs ****loads of cash.
one of my customers is selling his rs4 for 190k. he wants to get rid of it asap as he is awaiting delivery of a c63. guy loves his fast cars. yeah the fuel might be a bit of a problem. those cars are guzzlers. and maintenance is quite expensive you're right. i'd say safest bet is e46 m3, besides engine parts, service parts and general maintenance parts like brakes and stuff not so bad
