Most powerful mobile device?

None of the SPs sell HP products, I think its definatley one of the most powerful... anybody have a comparison?

I feel I was scammed by this too and the fact that they never mentioned that I need to purchase additional GPS software for the unit to work.
What can I do?

I enjoy the device, but some actions are very very slow. Switching between landscape and regular view, I can type almost a full sms on the keyboard before it even starts typing on the screen. It is a little better with the WM6.1 upgrade, but it's still not the way I think it should be. From reading xda forums it seems this is because HTC have not written drivers to take advantage of the graphics chip. Why put the chip in and then not use it?

The GPS software is a huge irritation. For a device that costs this much not to come bundled with some sort of software is a big disappointment.

thank goodness i didn't take TT2 for my upgrade

I'm glad someone's sticking a needle in the HTC spine. Not only do they claim to "have the fastest mobile device alive", their products don't exactly last that long, nor do they fulfill system requirements...

Well, I bought one of the HP devices... very similar specs to the Tytn II... and I was not all that impressed. I will keep using it.. .but I will probably go back to Nokia after this.

TyTN II

;)Well I have been a HTC user for about 4 years now. Started with a SPV 2000(Imate PDA2K), then a TyTN which I bought in London just after the launch and now have a TyTN II.
I think the TyTN II is a good business tool with lots of functionality.
But the Video side sucks thanks to the missing Qualcom 7200 drivers.
But CorePlayer runs great on this device and I have converted some DVD's that run great on this platform.
The upgrade to M$ 6.1 Professional did resolve a few issues, especially on the Bluetooth side.
In the mobile I use a Supertooth Voice mobile Handsfree kit. All the functions work great and the unit only costs R700.
The new Touch Diamond Pro has been announced and I believe this will be a killer according to the specs.

The main gripe about HTC devices is that they are expensive in South Africa. I believe the reason for this is that HTC does not operate here directly, but through an agent who also has to make a profit. BTW. Did you know that MTN has a share holding in Leaf Wireless. Maybe that explains why Vodacom is now the distributors for the new IPhone.

So price is my main gripe!

I saw a HTC Diamond the other day. Looks awesome - not that I'm into PDA's.

Tiny phones are for me.

when is that Diamond phone actually coming to SA?

Im due for a upgrade and want to get the TT2 but if the diamond is due out in the next 2months or so then ill wait.
