Long story short, I had a power surge through my phone line 2, 3 weeks ago. Now it seems my motherboard network port is dead, I have linked a small short vid on the lights blinking because I know I will fail to explain it.

Confirm that it's busted? Also does a motherboard warranty cover the network port failing? I know ASUS motherboards usually have a 3 year warranty.
Motherboard: ASUS P7P55D-E LX
Bought Thursday 30 September, 2010
Update: I just opened up Speccy and my entire Pc froze, pushed the restart button and nothing. Then about 10 seconds after that it shut down and started up again.
Off topic: kudos to mybb auto saving posts, didn't have to start from scratch typing this out.
