I think I read on Android Central that every Moto G sold is for a profit now.
Motorola have really stepped up their game, like to see the Moto X refresh.

I'm really impressed with the build quality for the price. It's insane how they get such a nice phone for that price and still make a profit!

Has anyone tried getting one in to SA? What would the final price come down to?

Somebody mentioned somewhere what the taxes would be. Can't remember what page. A few back, just check.

I ordered mine today :D

With jadopado.com. I live in Dubai so I get it the next day and no customs. I think somebody has already provided the link for the customs.

Got my Moto G :D Ordered the red one and got a black cover for free, didn't even know it would. Awesome phone so far, I can't believe it was so cheap.

Just to let you know, I solved my reboot issues, I removed Waze and the phone has been stable since.

Can someone please tell me if it is possible to get into the bootloader when the moto g is turned off by holding down the 2 volume buttons and inserting a USB cable? I still have a broken power button.

What kind of stand by times are you guys getting? I took it of charge before I went to bed. Nothing kept it awake during the night and it lost 12%. Not very good imo.

Not good at all. Good is 2%. But that takes a lot of effort.

Check all your sync intervals and notification settings. Google now, Facebook, are the usual suspects

Yeah I know, I used to get 2% easily on my SII with wifi off.

My wifi and sync was off, so it should not even me a problem. I think maybe it's because the battery is new, maybe it needs to run in.

I don't even have Facebook installed :p Google+ is disabled.

Nothing kept it awake as well as you can see from the chart. That's why I think the battery needs to run in. It has only gone through 3 full charges.

Wake locks don't always show as awake time, because it's not only the duration but the number. There's a naughty app somewhere in there

ffs

Will have to go through all the settings again. But, apps aren't supposed to try and update if there is no internet connection? Surely the developer must have added this.
