MotoGP 2016

I had been impressed with his maturity this year, but he did have a bit of a lapse yesterday.

That for me is why Valentino is a great. At the peak of his powers he could ride hard and close but he never binned it. His opponents would be the ones that lost their nerves.

Everyone over the years that has come up against Vale, has eventually fallen to the wayside... Marquez needs to chill or he'll be next :)

What a great day of racing...watched Moto3 start to finish for the first time and wow. It's ridiculously entertaining.

Amazing stuff. Can't think of any other class where there is such a complete lack of fear from the whole field... The number of times someone in third, fourth or even fifth dives down the inside to take the lead is staggering. That 17 year old wild card rider was just spectacular yesterday and Brad keeping his cool in the middle of all of that chaos is telling... That kid is the business.

FP1 results and it looks fairly tight. Top 15 covered by just less than a second!

Iannone out of San Marino GP

Ducati's Iannone ruled out of San Marino GP

Ducati MotoGP rider Andrea Iannone was ruled out of the weekend's San Marino Grand Prix on Friday after suffering a fractured vertebra in a fall in practice.

The works team said the Italian had been declared unfit to race after being taken to hospital near the Misano circuit in eastern Italy.

Iannone took his maiden MotoGP win in Austria last month for Ducati's first victory in the top category since 2010. The rider, who lies sixth in the standings, is joining Suzuki next season.

Question... Is stuff like this on Catch up? I missed the weekends race :(
Or anyone know where I can get my hands on the race online?

Over a 100 points clear now in the championship for Binder, he literally needs to DNF every single race, and Bastianini win every single one (maybe one of the 5 he just needs to score a couple), in order for Binder to not take it.

8 different winners in the last 8 races! EIGHT!! Eat schit F1 :p

Fantastic ride by Pedrosa, that soft front just somehow got switched on, and stayed on in this heat.... strange. well done and welcome back.

Rossi was solid as you expect from the Master.

Damn I like it when Marquez has his sad panda face on :D :D

So stoked for Dani. Been a long time coming seeing him at the office top of the podium. Simply stunning, no holds barred ride from him. Man, has MotoGP ever been better?!

His small frame (he's the lightest guy on the grid) and riding style (ultra smooth) enabled him to look after it.

And yes, nice to see him pick up a win again.

Binder is just on another level in comparison to the rest of the field. He rides beyond his years. I really hope he can carry this forward in to MotoGP.

If he places 1st or 2nd in the next race it is officially over regardless of any other rider's performance, holding thumbs that he does just that, the first South African motorcycle grand prix champ since Ekerold in 1980!
