Imo, they should call it a racing incident: both at fault - Marc for being a douche that he is, sorry I mean for being that too aggressive and Pecco cutting back aggressively as well...

Factory KTM's were no where today :(
Well done to Pedro, but he too can call himself lucky being a bit too aggressive on some corners

Arg, I'm just being salty due to Binder not been great today... :sneaky:

I wonder what is was with the factory riders today - tyres seemed to have been the same across the board but the way Acosta ate them up and left them in the dust would have been concerning for them both

I think it's called the exuberance of youth :D I also think they thought Acosta's tires won't last due to the way he was riding and pace he was keeping. Glad to see Miller not going too far backwards this time :)

Haha, you weren't the only one yesterday feeling salty. I was getting so sick of the commentators raving on about Acosta. I was like, "alright, we get it. Jeez!" But that was also me just feeling bitter about Acosta putting Brad in the shade, more so due to the fact that once Acosta gets onto the factory seat next to Brad, that kind of thing could become the norm and that scares me.

But yeah, Brad didn't have a great weekend for whatever reason. Chalk and cheese compared to Qatar. Hopefully things are better in three weeks (THREE WEEKS!!!!) time at COTA.
 
Formula One owners Liberty Media purchase MotoGP for $4.5 billion

Formula One owners Liberty Media have agreed to buy MotoGP on Monday in a deal valued at around $4.5 billion, the American company said.

MotoGP said in a statement that Liberty Media would acquire "approximately 86 percent" stake from Spain-based owners Dorna in a deal valued at 4.2 billion euros ($4.5 billion).

The acquisition is expected to be completed by the end of 2024 subject to clearances and approvals by competition and foreign investment law authorities in various jurisdictions.

Liberty will not be the first company to own both Formula One and MotoGP.

Motorland Aragon will host MotoGP™ for the next three years thanks to an agreement reached between the Government of Aragon and Dorna, ensuring uninterrupted hosting of this event for the next three years (2024, 2025, and 2026). On Tuesday, the Minister of Environment and Tourism and President of Motorland, Manuel Blasco, signed this commitment, which Dorna Sports CEO, Carmelo Ezpeleta, has endorsed.

Either Yamaha threw money at him to get him to stay, or he truly believes that they will rise to the front of the field again with the direction they've taken.

Yeah, the fact that he was even in Q1 in the first place is a problem. Hoping for some sprint magic later.

Acosta is proving he belongs and then some. Although, I won't lie that I'm getting sick of the commentators going about him now. If I hear the phrase, 'rookie sensation' one more time, I'm going to throw something at the TV. We get guys. Can we move on now...?

Vinales' lap was brilliant! The question is now can he get the start to make the most of it. He has a problem of going backwards at the start
