Mouthwashaholic

I can't imagine what this "addiction" costs you...

Usually when Listerine is on special I stock up on a few. I refill little bottles that I keep at the office etc.

Like so

Sooo I have to ask, Do you see an improvement in your gum and teeth? Did you get immune to that strong burning sensation in your mouth?

Are you trying to cut down on our mouth wash?

Usually I take the little bottle to the bathroom and rinse in there but yesterday I took a swig in the office and was going to go to the bathroom to spit it out when a colleague stopped to speak to me, I didn't know whether to be rude and ignore him or swallow and reply to him. I had to swallow.

Hi, well I suppose my teeth and gums are ok, unfortunately I don't floss though. For a while I did find that the tingle was starting to subside which is why I started to cut back.

I've started limiting myself so now I only keep a little bottle at work and try to make each little bottle last atleast 3 days. I've cut down to rinsing about 6 times/day now, on a disciplined day. 1 in the morning, 1 after lunch, 3 in the afternoon when I feel that I deserve them or feel overwhelmed etc and 1 in the evening.

^ This is the reason why the bottle says do not swallow.

that has to be unhealthy

the high alchohol content in mouthwash does do some damage to the teeth's *coating/enamel*

if you are that addicted, rather switch to something with no alchohol like *Dentyl*

Ok thats good,I guess... :)

You might even get a condition called "dry mouth" if you continue. Google it, I have heard its NOT a nice thing to have. I think your mouth stops producing saliva so you feel like you choking all day long.

I don't think it's for the alcohol. For a long time I was addicted to orange Tic Tacs (which is a very common addiction) and also to the product below, not to brush with but would eat it like Dirkie.

I think I'm just addicted to the mouth freshness feel.

Plax on a great special at Dischem for those that prefer it. R25 for 750ML:eek:
