Move Vumatel CPE?

Vuma installed our CPE in the most ridiculous place on the side of a pillar halfway up a wall.


The wiring looks hideous and the power cable's stretched to capacity, as is the fibre cable that runs from the street into the house (don't know what it's called).

They left marks on the wall where the CPE was originally meant to go before they realised the cable wouldn't reach.

Can I move that CPE or what are the chances of getting Vuma back to redo it?

You can't move it.

MAKE them move it - it was supposed to be installed where YOU want it in the first place (see faq)

They also will run cable as far as you want into your house from the road, they just charge per meter after the "free" threshold

OK Tks, thought I wouldn't be able to move it myself. Will contact them and nag for them to change it.

Expect that will be a mission of note

I don't think there will be an extra charge but happy to pay if necessary.
