The Illusionist-8/10.An underrated gem.
The Karate Kid-7/10.Formulaic but very entertaining
Predators-5/10.Good premise spoiled by sloppy script

Cop Out: 7/10 - Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan team up as a cop duo who get suspended for being wreckless during an attempted (seemingly small) Mexican drug bust. Willis, desperately looking to pay for his daughter's wedding and now 30 days without pay, takes a very valuable baseball card to a friend to try and get the money he needs, only to be robbed. I personally felt Tracy overplayed his character at times, but overall had some good laughs.

The worlds greatest dad - 7/10 bizarre movie and weird ending. Robin Williams is pretty good in it.

Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader. 6/10

Fun for the family, but not much of a gripping storyline. Don't bother watching it in 3D either as the effects are really not all that amazing.
Fans of the series will like, as will kids who enjoy fantasy. Adults might get a little bit bored, as it comes across as every other generic fantasy movie you ever saw.

We went to see it at Carnival City (booked online), when we got there we found out that you had to pay for the 3D glasses. We complained about that and eventually the manager just loaned us 5 sets of glasses which we returned after the movie.

Public Enemies: 8/10 - A true story about bank robber John Dillinger (Johnny Depp) and the pursuit of him by Melvin Purvis (Christian Bale). I would guess it was Hollywooded (I know it's not a real word) up but it made for a great 1930's gangster-type movie.

No such thing as a true story coming out of Hollywood.

Still a good movie.

Same thing happened to us at the Kolonade shopping centre (Ster-Kinekor). I had to go stand in a queue to buy the damn glasses

Reds And Blues: The Ballad of Dixie And Kenny
Dixie (Paul Duckworth) a fervent, bitter blue has been bin-bagged and arrives at the home of his crazy Evertonian sister, Gwladys (Lindzi Germain). Unbeknown to the blues, the rabid reds next door headed by Kenny (Andrew Schofield) and Anne (Lynn Francis) are planning a European Cup celebration garden party. On finding out, Dixie is hell-bent on ruining the occasion. The ridicule and banter between both families and their kids is endless as the flak is fired from both sides of the dividing fence which becomes a World War 1 no-man's-land trench. Between the onslaught are many cameos from ex red & blue players including Howard Kendall as the Blue Bishop and Ian St John as the Red Saint whilst original songs from Dixie & Gwladys inside the Bitter & Twisted arms, and from Anne and Kenny make this a Red and Blue comedy musical fest.

Bonded By Blood. (they say ist even better that Rise Of The Footsoldier)
In 1995, drug suppliers and career criminals Tony Tucker, Patrick Tate and Craig Rolfe were blasted to death by a shot gun whilst waiting in a Range Rover in Rettendon, Essex. The film charts their rise to become the most prolific dealers and feared criminals in the south of England, maintaining the hold on their empire with fear and violence until their untimely death.

12 Angry Men (1957) - 9/10

Molach if you liked City of God I suggest you watch ELite Squad (have not seen it myself yet) made by the same people who did City of God

Ticking Clock (2011) 4/10

The Hurt Locker 6/10.Most overrated movie in history.

6/10 for a movie you consider the most overrated in history is actually a pretty good score. Factor in the people who really appreciated it, and then factor in those who thought it was exceptional and you arrive at why it was rated so highly.
