he needs to pick the right roles...there were some pretty awkward moments with Carla Gugino in San Andreas. He's not ready to sell drama yet...comedy and action he's more than capable.

Magic Mike 6.8/10

/inb4 "revokes man-card"

I was surprised by this. Was expecting it to just be eye-candy for the ladies (and gay men) but it was actually quite good. You could see it as a buddy movie where the buddies just happen to be male strippers. It's unfortunate that a lot of guys will miss out on this movie due to their narrow mindedness leading them to believe that watching it is "gay".

Can't revoke something you never had!

As Above So Below - 8/10 ....... whew, creepy and manic and creepy. One of the better 'found footage' movies I've seen in a while.

Oliver, Stoned. (2014) 2/10

"The world's biggest stoner, Oliver, loses a high profile car, forcing him to steal an ice cream truck and enlist his wacky friends to help track down the thief before it's too late."
The worse movie I have seen all year; highly stupid on every level. There is no Wiki entry even. If you like your movies with plenty of weed smoking & vomit then this will be a threat. Pineapple Express wipes the floor with this.

American Heist (2014) 6.5/10

Bank heist thriller; average.Adrien Brody does not play a convincing gangster.Always a pleasure to watch Jordana Brewster.

Aloha (2015)

The Man from UNCLE 6.5 / 10

Solid fun...lots of style, not much else. Ex Machina girl is very watchable.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) - 9/10

Visually, it looked amazing. Minus one point though for the lack of plot. I didn't understand the 'visions' ("you let us die", and then a creepy girl would show up) that Max kept on seeing. I've watched 1 and 2 recently, never watched 3 though. Maybe that's why? Was that meant to be his daughter? She looked nothing like the actress in Mad Max 1.

Charlize's character was great too. I didn't like that she used an American accent though.

Her (2013) - 7/10

I feel this was somewhat over-praised. It thought the story was quite pretentious at times, but the great acting kept it from getting super campy.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Tom Hardy looks nothing like Mel Gibson?

An Afrikaaner Furiosa would've been a tough sell.

Authors Anonymous (2014) 6.5/10

Decent comedy about a group of unpublished writers; the turmoil & jealousy when one of them gets an agent & a book deal. Kaley Cuoco makes the movie.

Side note that this is the final film role of the well known Dennis Farina.
