San Andreas

4/10

Stupid over the top situations that would have killed them all since the start. I normally like disaster films but rarely do we see the same quality that was in Deep impact, Dante's peak, hell even the unrealistic day after tomorrow instant freeze crap was better.

If you like special effects maybe you'd like this movie but for me the CG didn't even look believable so yeah. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because there was some tension at the end.
 
Grandma's Boy - 6/10 Doesn't hold up that well, but still a few laughs and Linda Cardellini is :love:


Scott Pilgrim - 7.5/10

Entourage - 7/10 Crap as a movie, but works as an extended episode.
 
Unbroken (2014) 8.5/10

"After a near-fatal plane crash in WWII, Olympian Louis Zamperini spends a harrowing 47 days in a raft with two fellow crewmen before he's caught by the Japanese navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp."
One word comes to mind about this movie & that is captivating; from beginning to end. Director Angelina Jolie does a sterling job. Kudos.
 
Jurassic World - 6/10

Predictable and some poor acting by the supports. Otherwise enjoyable and made for a good time filler last night.

Must say I am struggling to find a movie which could not have been enhanced by dropping The Rock from the cast. Yes, he's slightly a better actor than Cena but still B- grade

Wow if you give Trainwreck 0/10; I would give it 6/10; then I don't want to know what you give ratings for <Dear White People> (2014) & <Inherent Vice> (2014).

The are two of the (relatively) worse movies I've seen so far this year.

Cena was a cracker in Trainwreck

John Cena was brilliant in Trainwreck. Probably the best thing about that movie.
