Snowpiercer - 8/10.

What a joyride of a movie. Brutal action, well thought out and excellent acting by Chris Evans and Tilda Swinson.

Whoever thought up this movie must have quite the imagination.
This is good fun

Absolutely Anything - 7/10 ........ silly but decent laughs comedy with Simon Pegg (and some awesome voiceovers) about a guy given the power to do anything he wants by aliens.

I have yet to come across one MyBB'er who has given a poor or meh review.

It's a bloody good edge of your seat film; that unexpectedly keeps you hooked.

And Owen Wilson all people!

Heist - I am in two minds about a rating for this movie and will mention more below.

Mindless Action - 8.5/10

This is Robert de Neiro's latest action movie, and if you are into a mindless action movie, then this was fantastic! Probably one of the better action movies released this year.

Realistic Movie - 2/10

If you are the type of viewer who are looking at finer points, such as realism, then give this a movie a skip. It is utter s**t in this area. Nowhere in earth things will happen the way it did in this movie.

Definitely one of the most under-rated movies of 2015! And, probably, this far actually the best movie of the year imo. Damn suspense almost had me skipping parts to see what happens in the end...

Son of a Gun (2014) 6.5/10

"JR busts out of prison with Brendan Lynch, Australia's most notorious criminal, and joins Lynch's gang for a gold heist that soon pits the two men against one another." Aussie heist movie with Ewan McGregor; decent watch; has some good moments.Alicia Vikander from Ex Machina & The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is in here as well.

Re-watched: The Mist (2007) 7/10

"A freak storm unleashes a species of blood-thirsty creatures on a small town, where a small band of citizens hole up in a supermarket and fight for their lives." Directed by Frank Darabont; creator of The Walking Dead. We see a number of TWD S1 stars in this movie as well. It's look at how humans at lowest peak when there is no order is interesting. Good role from the underrated Thomas Jane.

No Escape. 8/10. Filled with scenes of heart stopping brutality I can see why the Cambodians took an objection to this film. All the more scarier after yesterday's Paris killings.
Must watch.

Regretably my viewing for the next while will be restricted to Disney, soppy romance films and light comedies owing to No Escape having used up all but my very last nerve.

7.5 /10 ( lost .5 for lack of reality now and then ).

Edit: 8/10 ( added back the .5 just because it was THE best thriller in a long while.

No Escape - 8/10 ....... just wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Even more hard hitting in light of Paris. The brutality was just :wtf:
