The Age Of Adaline (2015) 7/10

As far as "love stories" go this is one of the best in recent years. Its original; well spot; captivating. Blake Lively does her best performance to date.

The Midnight Meat Train (2008) 7/10

An properly hectic & bloody movie of note. Keeps you guessing right through to the end. A not yet famous Bradley Cooper & proper baddie Vinnie Jones as the "butcher".

Amy (2015) - 6.5/10

I'm sure this is fascinating to someone who's a fan, but I never really cared that much about Winehouse, so to me it comes across a bit too shallow.

Watched Ip Man 3 last night. All I can say is HS!! Brilliant movie with really good emotional storyline, some old school Chinese movie gangster plot and the best fighting scenes ever put in a movie.

Just try to ignore Mike Tyson and the English cop...

Donnie Yen is a true master.

The Walk (2015) 7.5/10

Very enjoyable; has a great charm to it. Surprised Joseph Gordon-Levitt received no Oscar nomination; he performed really well.

Exposed 7/10. Unmistakable inspiration from Pans Labyrinth. Would love to see the original cut of this before the studios butcher it and inserted a dour and soulless Keanu Reeves.

Brooklyn (2015) 6.5/10

Well shot but plays out like an extended soapie with a higher production value.

After watching the above I've watched all of the Oscar Best Picture nominated films:

I agree with pretty much all on the list but would take out Brooklyn & pop in The Walk.

Brooklyn (2015) 5/10

Wife enjoyed it. I didn't . I don't enjoy chickflicks, and this was a particularly slow one.
