Die Hard 5 - 8/10 - they did a good job me thinks :D action scenes were awesome!
django unchained - 6/10 - really dont see what all the fuss was about, good movie but could have been so much better IMO

Judge Dredd: 6.5/10 - Much better than I expected. Enjoyed that the acting was more like the comics. the story was a bit of a let down and their was to little character development.

I wouldn't be able to give JD a score. Never made it past the first 10 minutes :D

a bit disappointing really :crying:

Indeed. The worst thing about this GI Joe is that is not that it isn't great but more that it's not horrifyingly bad either. It's actually one of those films you are going to forget ever existed...until the third one comes out (which I doubt I'll make an effort to go watch)

Olympus Has Fallen - 7/10

Good old fashioned action film. Gerard Butler acts like his usual bad-ass self and story is a bit predictable. But it is AWESOME fun and exactly what you think it is going to be like. Definitely something I'll watch again :)

Jack Reacher = 7/10
My Awkward Sexual Adventure = 7/10 (Different Rom-Com with a couple of laughs)
Tucker and Dale VS Evil = 7/10 :D
Insidious = 8/10 (Haven't jumped out of my seat like that in a long time)
Four Lions = 8/10 = Great British Comedy

Watching "The Fourth Kind" right now...

Oblivion - 7.8/10

A beautiful movie, that with a few small changes, could have been both Cruise and Kosinski's masterpiece. A visual tour de force however...

Seven Psychopaths, with Christoper Walker / Woody Harrelson / Sam Rockwell / Colin Farrel. 8/10. Very enjoyable! Had a few good laughs! Christopher Walken gives a great performance as always.

I can't wait to see this and the upcoming Elysium (the Neil Blomkamp film and not the massage parlour ;))

A Haunted House --- Paranormal Activity Spoof Movie but the African American version. Funny at times and actually watchable.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. British films are generally of good quality but they slip under the radar far too often.

+1 Hadn't heard of it until I stumbled onto a imbd list and gave it a watch. A real hidden gem.

The Guilt Trip - 6/10

A cute movie. No action or special effects, but a movie that will leave you with a warm fuzzy feeling.

Watched Silver Linings Playbook

Really interesting movie, Bradley Cooper suffers from bipolar disorder and tries in an unconventional way to get together with his estranged wife with the help of Jennifer Lawrence who is also trying to get her life back in order after a tragedy.

Hat tip to Robert De Niro for a good overall performance and interesting factoids: "Among its 8 Academy Award nominations, this film became the first to earn nods in all four acting categories since Reds and the first "Big Five" (Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Director, Best Writing) nominee since Million Dollar Baby."

Solid 8 out of 10 and when I eventually watch it again I might bump it up to 9 (longevity and rewatchability) is important for me!
