Iron Man 3: 6/10. It all seems to make sense at the time you're watching it, until afterwards when the plotholes and stupidity of it all become too much to bear. Was going to give it 5 but the 'real' Mandarin was a nice touch.

Star Trek: ItD: 7/10. An inferior retread of the same themes from the first 'new' Star Trek movie, but still quite watchable.

Superman: 7/10. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it, and there was far too much emoing and far too little Supeing, but I did kind of get into it and the new guy pulls off the role very well. Zero chemistry with Lois Lane though.

Superman movies in general have zero chemistry and soul at all. This was actually one of the better ones.

Okay, eventually watched World War Z last night, and have to score it a solid 8.

Wished I could have watched it in the Cines, I think it would have been a great experience. I do not think there is anything wrong with the story line and the movie stuck well with the plot right up to the end. Brad Pitt played a great role. Yes, there were a few moments where I jumped and these crazy zombies sure gave a new angle to these type of movies.

I really recommend this movie and it is well worth the watch!

How totally awsome was that Israel scene ..... oh and the plane scene also. Cant wait for this to come out on Bluray.

It was great - awesome how it was taken over in a few minutes! Already out in blu-ray 1080p as well as 720p

Really? When that chick's hand got cut off I had no idea what was going on. Not even a spurt of blood. The camera was too busy focusing on their facial reactions.

I just took a quick peak again, and yes, there were blood pouring all over when that hand got chopped off - and a lot of it as well. Maybe your attention was elsewhere. BTW, I have a 1080p Blu-Ray copy 44GB in size and the red blood is definitely seen in this scene.

Maybe worth mentioning for those who did not know. There are more than 1 version of this movie available. The original was way too long, apparently and some scenes were cut from the movie in the cinemas. I have the uncut version which is a bit longer than the one on the movies.

Cinema version definitely cut out the blood bit there.

The theatrical version of WWZ had pretty much no gore because it was PG-13. This was my biggest complaint with the movie.

The uncut versions that are out now should have some gore, so I'm looking forward to watching it tonight...

Yip, I saw the BR rip last night and boy was it gushing & pumping for a whole 30sec. Looks like the SA censors had their scissors out.

Yep, they did. I wonder if the DVDs and Blu-Rays will also be cut like the movie, or if an uncut version will also be allowed.
