Violet & Daisy (2011)

This is one of those weird ass movies you dunno how to score, I'm somewhere between a 6 & a 7 but I reckon I'll just give it a 7 because I would love them for a threesome!
 
R.I.P.D 5/10

Fun to watch and some hilarious moments with Jeff Bridges. His 1800's American accent gets a bit much though and it is sometimes difficult to hear what he is saying. It is also a very "loud" movie.

Kevin Bacon and Ryan Reynolds are great but again their performances are nothing special. You could've casted any other actor for their role and there would be no difference.

Had to watch it in 3D which was decent but the CGI was sub standard at times.

Definitely not a movie that will be remembered in two months' time but still worth a watch if you have nothing else to do.

Agree with all of the above except directing and graphics. Which us why I'll give it a 7/10.

There's no doubt that the action scenes set in the ocean at night carry a lot of weight.

Its never been done before on such a huge scale. Even Battlefield can't match the sheer power of the visuals.
 
Pacific rim 5/10... Good action and cgi, *** characters... Why they gave the guy from the wire a British accent is beyond me.
 
Watched pacific rim today 3/10 also elysium 6/10

The first was a turd storyline. Nice action for young guys I guess. The latter is awesomeish. Nice za easter eggs. Copley is a clown with jan pierewiet. Liked elysium a lot..

I know right, im a hardcore horror fan but this movie made me jump during the daytime.loved it,scared to watch it alone at night now.
 
The Great Gatsby - 6.5 or maybe a 7/10. Di Caprio was excellent as usual, but I felt the movie lacked character depth. I liked the way it was shot, and I think Toby took his role well.

You shouldn't take movies about giant robots to serious....

The movie was shot 2D and converted to 3D and the fight scenes happends in the dark... and still some of the best 3D effects I've seen... in the end the average story didn't bother me that much.

Ok maybe not the best choice of words, but im trying to say that this movie is legit.I would say its the best horror of the year.Go watch and see if you agree.
I watch movies that are far gorrier (sp?) than this and i dont flinch because im desensitised (thanks hollywood!).Watched Cannibal holocast without putting it off lol
This movie has alot of jump scares, reason why i cant watch at night is cos i moved into a bigger place and still getting used to the sounds of the house.I have to go on patrol at 2am cos i cant sleep if i cant figure out the exact source of a sound.Now imagine doing that after watching this movie, eish.

He is only Lord Charles Minor from the office (us version) for me.
His english accent comes out when he has to shout at someone, other than that he puts on a decent american accent.
 
After Earth. 6/10. Never mind his son but if you can get over Will Smiths permanent look of excruciating constipation this movie isn't too bad. Its a decent sci fi.

The Lone Ranger ?/10. Had enough 20 min in and switched off.
