The Conjuring gets a 8/10 from me and should definitely be watched on the BIG screen ... not the cam copy with Chinese subs.

There are proper full HD rips out, not a bad movie and fine to watch on tv.
 
about a week ago my daughter went to watch Gravity in a 3D cinema and she said the chairs even "float" around but because I hate Sandra Bullock I will give it a miss..............................maybe.

96/100 on imdb and some comparing it to Space Odyssey. Definitely gonna sign up for this one.

That would be a stupid mistake. Movies are about directors, not actors. And by all accounts she turns in a very impressive performance here.

The movie was shot 2D and converted to 3D and the fight scenes happends in the dark... and still some of the best 3D effects I've seen... in the end the average story didn't bother me that much.

Effects were average, storyline was below average.

For all the pomp about the amazing effects and the time spent on defining the "drift", they did fark all with it. No depth was fleshed out, despite the enormous potential.

I really looked forward to this, and it failed to deliver in any single area I felt would be of any entertainment- and I didn't take this movie seriously at all.

I watch movies that are far gorrier (sp?) than this and i dont flinch because im desensitised (thanks hollywood!).Watched Cannibal holocast without putting it off lol
This movie has alot of jump scares, reason why i cant watch at night is cos i moved into a bigger place and still getting used to the sounds of the house.I have to go on patrol at 2am cos i cant sleep if i cant figure out the exact source of a sound.Now imagine doing that after watching this movie, eish.

The Conjuring wasn't especially scary, but I did spend the entire film feeling creeped out. It was actually a good horror movie.

I believe she is good but still...
 
The Heat - 5/10

Tries to be funny by using foul and crude language. There's a part where the fat chick pretends to have her hands tied behind her back and then in the very next scene she has her hands in front of her while having a chat with her captor. Sandra Bullock has a knife wound to her leg, yet she is able to crawl on the floor without shedding a drop of blood.

But the humour is somewhat original and *** funny and I won't watch it again.
