Movie Mini-Review Thread

Was Capt. America recently released to people who prefer not to pay for their movies? What's with the flood off reviews?

Sounds like you are not happy

[Maverick Jester]

Sshh, you.

Really liked The Winter Soldier. His fighting scenes were excellent, especially with the knife.

The Winter Soldier was impressive in that regard. The tone of the film suited his character rather well.

I just wished that the second half of the film had the same structure as the first half. It would have been a considerably better film.

I believe it is now YTS. To be flippant.

But that wouldn't go well with the clever play at FIFY

3 days ago (finally) ,yes.

I watched Non-Stop the other day and I really enjoyed it, good acting and not so far fetched.

Guardians of the Galaxy 9/10

Surprisingly excellent ! I went in with low expectations and walked out of the cinema overwhelmed by how much I enjoyed it.

The end credit scene is a fun one, but nothing really worth staying for.

Locke - 8/10

Brilliant performance by Tom Hardy.

Guardians of the Galaxy - 8/10

Story is pretty average but the characters are sucking AWESOME! And you have to see those visuals on the big screen. The one liners killed me

Edge of tomorrow ???

Are you asking? Ever considered searching the thread or scrolling back a couple of pages.

Yip, the idea of a single actor confined to a car just yapping away for the entire duration of the movie does not really seem that interesting at first but it was great.

Locke - 4/10

Found it repetitive, slow, boring and an anti-climax ending. Not my type of movie.

When I saw that was the premise of the movie I gave it a skip... after the Robert Redford effort.... :erm:
