last 15 minutes is just insane.
 
Shelter 4/10

You can start the movie then take the dog for a leisurely walk, get home, have a swim, settle down with a snack & you would not have missed a thing.
 
Real Steel

Family movie, Hugh Jackman, Robot Boxing.

If you have kids you'll like it, very much a Dad movie. 6/10

I enjoyed it.
 
not a fan of these kinds of films, but I decided to go Hire Warrior and I thought it was really well made, Nick Nolte is great in it

Started watching Girl with the Drago Tattoo (Hollywood version) last night.

Looks good thus far but i get the feeling that if you had not read the book the Movie will score lover than 5 on your scale as they gloss over a lot.
 
I have the book and the movie, but I'm yet to get anywhere far enough into the book. I find it a hard book to get into so I may jump right into the movie.
 
Limitless - 6/10 interesting concept. fairly well executed. not great, but not terrible either.
 
The Rum Diary - 7/10

Set in the 50's in Puerto Rico - the story follows an American journalist who joins a local newspaper.
 
Safe House, great movie Denzel is great in it and Ryan Renolds is actually decent in it for once.

J. Edgar = 9.5/10 - Fantastic acting, very interesting story. Clint Eastwood movie with Leo di Caprio. I really enjoyed it immensely!

The Big Year = 6.5/10 - Surprisingly funny and entertaining. With Steve Martin, Owen Wilson and Jack Black - a film about birdwatchers

The Descendants = 7/10 - Really enjoyed this movie - comedy drama with George Clooney. Funny at times and a gem of a movie!
 
As good as it gets - 8/10, brilliant movie. Jack Nicholson was superb in this. Helen Hunt. Wow... what a body !! :)
 
Something's gotta give 7/10, Very entertaining. Jack does it again.
